Rename the firmware file to DMN_xx.CUB and burn it to a CD ROM. The recorder should recognise it as a firmware update and automatically update.
Several users have reported good results with the Bush firmware. A couple of users have reported excellent results with the Daewoo firmware but try it at your own risk! Don't blame me if you damage your machine with either update - I am just passing on what I have gleaned from an internet forum.
